Terms of Service

Terms governing access to DCOS Software websites and subscription products.

These terms are a general public version for DCOS services. A signed order form or separate agreement controls if it conflicts with these terms.

The service

DCOS Software LLC provides web-based software modules for shop and business operations. Features may differ by subscription, may change over time, and may include beta or preview functions identified as such.

Accounts and responsibility

Customers are responsible for accurate account information, authorized user access, credential security, and the legality and accuracy of information submitted through the service. The customer remains responsible for its own business, engineering, quality, manufacturing, and approval decisions.

Subscriptions, fees, and delivery

Paid access is provided digitally after signup, payment approval, and any required onboarding. There are no physical goods to ship. Pricing, included modules, billing frequency, and renewal terms are shown before purchase or in an order form. Unless expressly stated otherwise, charges are in U.S. dollars.

Customer data

Customers retain their rights in content submitted to the service. Customers authorize DCOS and its service providers to host, process, copy, and transmit that content as necessary to operate, secure, support, and improve the subscribed service.

Acceptable use

Users may not interfere with the service, attempt unauthorized access, upload unlawful or malicious material, violate another person’s rights, or use the service in a manner that creates unreasonable security or operational risk.

Availability and third-party services

DCOS works to provide reliable access but does not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. Some features depend on third-party hosting, communications, identity, storage, and payment services.

Intellectual property

DCOS owns its software, branding, site content, product design, and related intellectual property, excluding customer-submitted content. No ownership transfers through a subscription.

Disclaimers and limitation

To the extent permitted by law, the services are provided without warranties not expressly stated in a written agreement. DCOS is not responsible for a customer’s manufacturing decisions, product conformity decisions, or use of generated records without appropriate review. Liability is limited to the extent allowed by applicable law and any controlling written agreement.

Termination

Access may be suspended or terminated for nonpayment, material breach, security risk, or unlawful use. Customers may cancel future renewal as described in the Refund and Cancellation Policy.

Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Questions may be sent to blake@dcossoftware.com.
